The chrome-free bovine leather is soft and lightweight. Sourced from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), the leather undergoes an innovative tanning process free from chrome, heavy metals, or harmful acids. By simplifying the tanning procedure, chemical usage is minimized, and energy consumption is reduced by 40% for water and 80% for salt. After tanning, the water is recyclable. Chrome-free leather is used for the entire Kids collection.

The suede comes from the underside of the bovine leather, previously brushed to make it softer and more flexible. It originates from farms in southern Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). The leather is tanned in Brazil, adhering to REACH regulations. Special attention is paid to water usage in the tanning process. Additionally, the suede is treated with PFC-free (perfluorinated compound) water-repellent oils to protect the sneakers from light rain.
