For O My Bag, B Corp certification is not just a label, but the heart of the brand. It is recognition of a concrete commitment to creating a positive social and environmental impact, with a particular focus on the people behind each product — most of whom are women.

With a score of 129.4, O My Bag proves that a fairer business model is possible.

Many of the people involved in O My Bag production are women. The brand actively works to provide security, stability, and opportunities for growth.

The numbers that matter:

  • 1,004 fair jobs guaranteed in India

  • 3 factories in Kolkata

  • 50% female account managers

  • 8 training programs per year for producers

The principle is clear: trade, not aid. The more the brand grows, the more women in local communities can build an independent future.

Since 2022, O My Bag has been actively contributing to the payment of decent wages, going beyond the legal minimum, which is often insufficient. A fair wage allows women to take care of their health, ensure education and safety for their families, plan for the future, and live with greater autonomy and dignity. For O My Bag, this is not an added value or an option: it is a moral responsibility and a conscious choice that puts people at the center. O My Bag selects its manufacturing partners only if they comply with a strict Code of Conduct designed to protect human rights, ensure gender equality, prevent any form of discrimination or harassment, and guarantee safe working conditions. Creating respectful and protected work environments is essential, especially for women. 

Since 2023, O My Bag has been working with Future Hope in Kolkata, supporting vulnerable children and families—many headed by single mothers.

Support includes:

  • primary education

  • 11 new computers for digital learning

  • rebuilding the school kitchen

  • nutritious meals for over 400 children

In total, 22,269 lives have been positively impacted thanks to social projects in India.

Being a B Corp means putting people first, acting with transparency, and measuring your impact. With a score of 99.8 points, the brand demonstrates that a fairer way of doing business is possible.

At the heart of A Beautiful Story is the belief that objects can tell stories and create authentic connections. Its jewelry and symbolic gifts, called lucky tools, are designed to bring good luck to those who wear them and real opportunities to those who make them. Each product has a double value: for those who give it and for those who, thanks to their craftsmanship, can build a dignified life.

A social enterprise that puts people first

A Beautiful Story is a social enterprise: profit is not the goal, but a means to generate positive impact. The brand follows Fair Trade principles and promotes wages that allow people to truly live, not just survive.

In concrete terms, this means:

  • living wages, not minimum wages

  • economic stability for artisans and their families
    the opportunity to invest in health, education, and the future

Added to this is the Living Wage Plus project, which includes financial education programs and income management support.

A fundamental pillar of the brand is its support for women, especially in contexts where working is not a given. A Beautiful Story firmly believes that equality and economic independence are tools for change: this is why it is committed to ensuring safe and respectful work environments, equal opportunities for growth for men and women, support for motherhood and returning to work, childcare services, and the active participation of a majority of female artisans in production.

The relationship with producers is based on trust, co-creation, and continuity. That's why the brand also invests in training and coaching, helping artisans develop skills that will be useful over time.

It all started in 2006 in Nepal, when the founder chose not to turn a blind eye to the injustice experienced by a group of artisans. Since then, A Beautiful Story has continued to grow with a clear vision: to demonstrate that it is possible to create beauty and value by putting people, and especially women, at the center.
